In the very center of Kyiv, at the bottom of the Cherepanova Hill, there is the place where one of the biggest clusters of sports facilities in Europe is located. Since 1996 it has the name of National Sports Complex “Olympiyskiy”. It's heart is a large sports arena which comprises a football pitch, athletic tracks and two-tier stands for spectators.

NSC “Olimpiyskiy” is a multi-functional complex allowing to hold both football/athletic tournaments and international events. And the modern technical equipment of the arena provides an option to organize conferences, workshops, banquets, exhibitions, fashion shows. The total capacity is 70 050 spectators’ places (68 055 places for EURO 2012).

NSC ''Olympiyskiy'' is considered the main stadium of Europe championship. It is the stadium on which final competition and closing ceremony was held.
